Revolution Grrrl Style Now

It's a rainy day here in Vancouver. I'm feeling rather emo and nostalgic today. I miss all my lovelies back home and afar. This is for them and all my femihomos! xox

Who Told You Christmas Wasn't Cool?

Too much 'Christmas' content lately? I didn't think so either. Especially not when Christmas is associated with Kathleen Hanna.

Sini Anderson is directing a documentary film about Hanna. The film is not simply an archive of Kathleen’s impact on our culture as a feminist leader and musician, but promises to be an
intimate portrait of a complex artist and activist that explores where she’s been, where she is now, and where she is going. Inevitably, these questions will engage larger ones about the nature of art and activism, as well as fame, friendship, and community.
