"CFCR host suspended for Twitter blunder"

This is not Chris Brinklow, this is Jon Stewart -- in case you didn't know.

This Chris Brinklow dude's a real idiot! He's still arguing the merits of his 'jokes' on Twitter. Since when did misogyny, fatphobia, and retard jokes become 'edgy'? Because I'm pretty certain they're just an indicator of ignorance.

This is what anger looks like

After escaping physical and aggressive unwanted sexual advances by three men Saturday night, and then all of that misogynist 'whore' talk, victim blaming, and slut shaming bullshit today; I'm about to lose my shit. More than I have already.

I'll hate fuck you and your victim shaming so hard, that you'll never forget - "dead men don't rape".

Glass Popcorn

I was scouring the world.wide.web last night for some new music and news articles to discuss on Rainbow Radio. I happened to find a track by Glass Popcorn about Tim McLean, the guy who was beheaded in 2008 on a Greyhound bus traveling through Manitoba. I was curious about this Glass Popcorn person and eventually discovered that he's a 15 y/o pseudo internet celebrity from Arizona that was 'discovered' by one of the co-founders of dump.fm (I used to WASTE a lot of time on dump). Anyway, I pursued this mess a little further and then hit the jackpot with this video.

Bam!

Cunt Sleep

Tomorrow I have a friendly date with Thirza. We're going to eat fried chicken, visit the site in which Joni Mitchell lost her virginity, and hunt for UFOs. I'm totally looking forward to our adventure filled journey. If we're not too spooked or tired, perhaps we can even fit the Feral Children and Women show into our agenda too. It is after all in support of CFCR's FM-phasis.

NASA's Alien Anomalies caught on film.

Before she was Joni Mitchell she was Joni Anderson.

Sonic Youth - Hey Joni (mp3)

Feral Children - My Soul is a Disco (mp3)

Women - Eyesore (mp3)

NaBloPoMo

Just yesterday I was made aware that there is a National Blog Posting Month which begins today. Basically the goal is to post something to this blog daily for the entire month of November. I'm definitely up for the challenge, and am in fact skipping a soccer game that I should be coaching so I could prepare for Rainbow Radio, and assure that I had enough time to post something here.

I don't have much time to dedicate to a post right now, but I didn't want to already have ruined my chances at successfully completing this challenge.

Here's a playlist of the tracks I'm going to play tonight on Rainbow Radio:

Girls - Hellhole Ratrace
Girls - Solitude
The Younger Lovers - Danny
Gravy Train!!! - You Made Me Gay
Mika Miko - I Got A Lot (New New New)
Mika Miko - Bastard In Love
Kania Tieffer - Hot
Kania Tieffer - The Pleasure Is Mine
Katastrophe - Tonight
Katastrophe - The Life
Sexy Sushi - Tu Dégages
Sexy Sushi - Je T'obéis
Shearing Pinx - Selfish Acts
Shearing Pinx - Battery Born
Narwhalz - The Pom Wizard Rises

Squirt

I was over at Xtra looking for interesting news stories, and/or gay gossip to talk about on the bimonthly radio show I host named Rainbow Radio on Saskatoon's community radio station. I read a few interesting articles like this one, but most importantly, I stumbled upon the BEST GAME EVER! Check it out.
